I know I know...I've been catching up. I have been away from the comics world for a while(economy...what can ya do?), and even DA, so I hadn't seen it...but it's awesome, and you're more than welcome my friend.
I was toying around with whether i should give it colors or not. I know burquas tend to be fairly plain as a rule- but on the other hand, i'm trying to give the x-kids a real school uniform. So i did two versions- the one you see, with the yellow/black, and another one that's mostly all black.
i kind of like her costume the way it is. It wasn't designed with "hick" in mind- it was designed to show as much skin as possible without being trampy. If your ability was to rip skin away to have some kind of texture or feature underneath, would you want as little resistance as possible?
thanks. And i'm a fan of that outfit too- it's why i chose the background cover that i did. I wouldn't be surprised if i did a version of that uniform someday. I'll probably be doing these things until i die.
Nice. Your redesign of the gen-x costumes looks great. I always like a more realistic looking costume. Makes me wonder, if the X-Men were supposed to be some underground, often semi-illegal group, why the hell would they wear costumes advertising the fact that they are X-men? They aren't a baseball team.
